I watched this film/musical on Netflix a couple of months back and was immediately drawn in by the songs (and the clothes!), which I may or may not sing all the time. The film is written and directed by Stuart Murdoch from the band Belle and Sebastian. The story is set in Scotland and follows Eve, an aspiring songwriter who escapes a psychiatric hospital where she is being treated for anorexia, along the way she befriends James and Cassie and they eventually form a band called, *drumroll*, God Help The Girl. If your into indie type movies, I really recommend this!

Comfy pajamas - Sometimes after a really long day there is just nothing better than throwing on some freshly washed pajamas that have just come off the radiator,as well as some fluffy socks.
A candle - Sounds silly, but a good ole' scented candle puts me in a right good mood, especially this cinnamon one, however, unscented candles are just as good if your looking for a bit of ambiance.
Bubble bath - Whether Lush bath bombs or a shower gel, a nice hot bath is one of the best ways to de-stress (although you do end up smelling a bit like you just robbed a sweet shop - which fyi is not a bad thing) .
A face mask - Face masks are kind of one of the best things about pamper evenings, especially the ones that heat up and the ones that you have to peel off!
Your favourite mug- This is an essential for making your favourite warm drink, whether green tea, chai tea or a hot chocolate with all its trappings!
A book - I find that pamper evenings are the perfect time to read that book, everyone has one, the one that's been collecting dust on your shelf for half a year, that you've just been meaning to read but just never get around to, you know reading it. Although, sometimes I would rather just log onto Netflix and pop on a romcom.
